Frequently asked questions

Listing SEO Score Checker — FAQ

Quick answers to the questions sellers ask most.

What factors does the SEO score check?

Title length and keyword presence, bullet count and per-bullet length, description completeness, image count, backend keyword usage, prohibited symbols, and HTML cleanliness.

What's a good SEO score?

85+ is excellent, 70–84 is good, 50–69 needs work, under 50 is poor. Most published listings score 60–75 on first audit.

Is the SEO score Amazon's official scoring?

No — Amazon doesn't publish their ranking formula. SnapFBA's score is based on best-practice signals that correlate with rank in our internal data.

Does the score consider conversion rate?

Not directly. Conversion is measured in Seller Central. The SEO score measures structural completeness, which is a precondition for conversion.

How often should I re-audit my listings?

Quarterly is fine for stable listings. After any rewrite or major Amazon policy change, re-audit within a week.

Can I export the score for a client report?

Not yet — but you can screenshot the result page. CSV export is on the Pro roadmap.
