What is the QR Code Generator?

A QR code is a 2D barcode that encodes a URL or text. For Amazon brands, QR codes live on product insert cards, packaging, and warranty pages — they take a shopper from a physical product back to your storefront, brand following page, or registration flow.

How to use the QR Code Generator

  1. 1 Enter the URL or text you want to encode.
  2. 2 Pick foreground and background colors (keep contrast high).
  3. 3 Set the output size in pixels (512 is plenty for print).
  4. 4 Click Download PNG (or SVG for vector use).
  5. 5 Print at 1 inch minimum so cameras can lock focus.

Benefits

  • Custom foreground / background colors to match your brand
  • High error-correction so codes still scan after packaging wear
  • Download as PNG (print-ready) or SVG (infinitely scalable)
  • No watermark, no tracking, no signup

Common use cases

  • Brand insert cards pointing to your follow page
  • Warranty registration QR code on packaging
  • Product manual QR code linking to a video walkthrough
  • Storefront QR code on a trade-show banner
Frequently asked questions

QR Code Generator — FAQ

Quick answers to the questions sellers ask most.

Are QR codes allowed on Amazon insert cards?

Yes — Amazon allows QR codes on inserts as long as they don't link to off-Amazon review-incentive flows. Linking to a warranty page, follow page, or manual is fully compliant.

Can I link my QR code to my Amazon storefront?

Yes. Use the format amazon.com/stores/YourBrand or your full storefront URL.

What size should I print a QR code?

Minimum 1 inch (2.5 cm) square. Larger codes scan faster and from further away.

Should I use custom colors for the QR code?

You can — but keep the contrast strong. Dark code on a light background works best. Inverted (light on dark) scans on most modern phones but older cameras may struggle.

Will the QR code still work if my URL changes?

No — once printed, the code encodes that specific URL. For URLs you expect to change, use a redirect service (bit.ly, your own short URL) so you can update the destination without reprinting.

Does this tool track scans?

No. SnapFBA QR codes are static — they encode your URL directly and we never see scan data. Use bit.ly or similar if you want analytics.
